Free Continuing Education for EMS providers (7 hours) The Long View: The History and Future of EMS – (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 1 HOUR ELECTIVE) The Greatest EMS Risk: The Non-Transported Patient – (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 1 HOUR ASSESSMENT) Advanced ECG Interpretation: From The Basics to Modern Science (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 1 HOUR CARDIAC) Evolution and Revolution in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation:  Results From the Last Half Century (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 1 HOUR CARDIAC) Cardiac Pit-Crew Resuscitation Didactic (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 2 HOUR CARDIAC) Sepsis or Something Else? (EMT/AEMT/EMT-I/PARAMEDIC – 1 HOUR MEDICAL) Our 2017 Keynote speaker, Raymond Fowler, MD is a 38-year veteran of emergency medicine who currently serves a professor and Chief of the Division of Emergency Medical Services at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. A prominent author in emergency medicine education and active investigator in international EMS research, Dr. Fowler is a leading expert in EMS education and medical direction. Jeff Beckman, MD has spent time as a volunteer physician in Honduras and Nepal and now works as an Emergency Physician at both Good Samaritan and Lutheran Medical Center. During his tenure he has been involved with many agencies and councils throughout the Denver Metro and helps to further EMS education within the community. His passion has led him to become specialty board certified in EMS and selected as the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) EMS and Trauma Services Branch Medical Director.  Jason M. Bellows, MD has been practicing Emergency Medicine since completing his EM residency at George Washington University in 2005. His early career was as an attending at Georgetown University before moving to Colorado in 2010. He is currently a staff physician at both Lutheran and Good Samaritan Medical Center, as well as a clinical instructor at Denver Health. Dr. Bellows lectures on many topics, including emergency cardiac care and alcohol withdrawal syndromes.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.
